It's only May and there's already been loads of happy things (and a fuck-ton of sad shit) happen in 2019 that might have coaxed me out of hibernation. But only the above made me decide to temporarily wake and post here. The Johnson County Library system's newest branch celebrates it's grand opening this Sunday. We got a sneak peak invite. The new location is bitter sweet: still walkable for us (which we like to do) but it is farther away (which is a factor since we're getting older). It's a beautiful place and we look forward to hanging out there before and after the gym. We've already checked out our first reads: she, a 'cozy mystery' and me, A CONFEDERACY OF DUNCES.
