Last night (01-Dec-18) was a Date Night. We actually make a specific point of having some kind of date 'thing' each and every day—last night's was a Pizza & Movie date night.

Dewey's Pizza is a new fave. We were turned on to the restaurant through our volunteer efforts. They have been a food vendor at the Library Lets Loose fundraiser* that my wife co-chaired the last three years (she's stepped down for 2019—we look forward to working with the library in other ways). I am in lust with Dewey's vegetable-centric pizza, something they call the Edgar Allan Poe. It knocks my socks off. Last night we splurged... meat. Just a little prosciutto, yo. A little rub of goodness on the gums, a little flake, a little taste. The Porky Fig contains other good stuff, too: caramelized onions, fig jam, and Gorgonzola. Delish!

Movie, THE DANISH GIRL.

I recommend the combinations noted above.

Photo: Dewey's pizza: 1/2 Edgar Allan Poe & 1/2 Porky Fig. Fucking righteous.
(Link share not done as part of my wife's effort with fundraiser. The pizza just grooves, yo! Though I'll again thank Dewey's for supporting Library Lets Loose.)

* Yes, I admit I'm in one of those pics in KC's society paper. (Me... in a society paper... bwahahah… can you believe that?) I also admit that I am totally lit, too. I was not driving. Please note I was not only carrying a cocktail but also a book and a phone. That didn't mean I was any less lit. Might mean I was even more... (LED + literature?) Hey, I'm just pointing out random shit to readers. Time now for the obligatory fashion mention: Necktie, by Armani. And my panties, by asking me nicely.
